School Coordinator Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What age groups can attend? +
We welcome school groups from age 6 and up. Activities are adapted to different age groups and ability levels. Younger groups can participate in land-based activities and supervised water activities with appropriate support.
How many staff/chaperones are needed? +
We recommend a minimum of 1 teacher/chaperone per 10 students. Our instructors supervise all water activities, but school staff must be present at all times to manage group behavior and ensure pastoral care.
What about students who can't swim? +
Non-swimming students can participate in land-based activities and observe from the dock. We also offer swimming classes if you'd like to arrange them. Please note: all water participants must be able to swim.
What if the weather is bad? +
Light rain doesn't stop us! In case of storms or dangerous weather conditions, we'll work with you to reschedule or adjust the program. We recommend having a flexible backup date in mind when booking, especially for spring and early summer.
How far in advance should we book? +
We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance, especially for spring and early summer. Popular dates fill up quickly, so the earlier you contact us, the better your chances of securing your preferred date.
Do you provide risk assessments? +
Yes, we can provide a full risk assessment document for your school's approval process. Simply contact us and we'll send the documentation over. This covers all activities, safety measures, and facility information your school needs.
Is lunch included? +
We offer group meal packages with menu options (see our Packages section above). You can also bring your own packed lunches — we have a covered picnic area where students can eat their own food. Just let us know your preference when booking.
